Skilled Laborer - Denver, CO and surrounding areas Built. Construction is seeking a skilled laborer with 3-5 years construction experience. This position requires a reliable and punctual person willing to perform a large variety of tasks. Responsibilities • Be proactive about safety when on site • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change • General knowledge of construction • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks • Operate hand tools and power tools of all types • Perform site clean-up • Communicate with other site employees to ensure a safe and efficient operation • Must have valid driver license • Be at least 18 years of age • Ability to work in difficult weather • Must be punctual, hardworking, and reliable Education and Experience: • Prior construction experience preferred Physical Demands • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. • Workers in this position lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under a variety of field conditions. Workers lift, push, pull, and carry materials and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Position Type • This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.
