San Luis Coastal Unified School District is looking for crossing guards at many of our elementary sites to join our team! In this position, you will direct students across intersections and during access to and departure from school grounds and to assure their safety during the process. Are you a parent of a student attending one of our schools? Are you retired and looking for part time work? This may have the perfect position for you! This position is part of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) that has 18 steps on the salary schedule. This is position is assigned a 180 day work calendar, Monday-Friday, 2 hours or less per day depending on site. If you are assigned to both morning and afternoon shifts, you will receive an additional 5% in pay. New hires normally start on Step 1 but may start on step 3 depending on experience. Probationary period is 6 months and with the passing probation, you will receive a step increase. Then per contract, you will receive an annual step increase. Please find our vacancies on Edjoin ().
