Drive a Guy Around, Pick Up Things, Help Him Out

I’m in a pickle and maybe you can help out. You may have heard there was a hurricane a few weeks ago. As a result, one of the things that are in really short supply are HVAC technicians. My real estate company has a long list of tenants with central air units that are on the fritz or totally don’t work. I found an HVAC guy who has limited English skills (and NO TRUCK!) who is supposed to start tomorrow knocking out these service calls. My Right Hand Man (who is a woman) was going to be the person that helped get the guy around from one place to another, picking up condensers and so forth from the supply house, and generally doing everything she could to tee him up for work so he could do the actual HVAC repairs. But in a move that proves some people only think of THEMSELVES she had the NERVE…..the GALL…. to go into labor last night and deliver an incredibly tiny, but healthy baby boy. Thus the present pickle. (Mother and child are fine. 😊) We need someone to drive our van and go pick up condensers and other parts and load them in the van. Then deliver them. Follow this guy around and help him out. “Here, let me help you inbox that.” “Hey, I’ll hold this up while you screw it in place.” Be busy helper. That sort of thing. Anything to keep. the. work. Moving. I’ll need a pic of your license. Please do not rob me or kill this guy or any of our tenants. (Do you have any idea how hard it is to find an HVAC guy?) If you habla the espagnol That is even better. Or should I say, “bueno.” I’ll pay you Via Venmo. Gig is Tues. through the end of the week or however long until he’s like. “I’m out.” $30 hr.
