Bear Valley Electric is accepting applications for a Warehouse Assistant/General Laborer who wants a career with a growing privately held company. We are family owned and oriented electrical contracting company who prides itself on providing superior quality and exceptional customer service primarily serving the commercial, industrial and agricultural markets in the Chippewa Valley. Requirements • Punctual, self-motivated and reliable is a must. • Managing inventory and reordering parts as needed. • Stage and pull parts daily according to schedule. • Custodial duties in warehouse, as needed to include: emptying garbage’s, cleaning the floor, etc. • Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Assist in ensuring all department tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order. • Ability to use desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and the Internet for ordering and data entry. • Experience with power tools, forklifts, and bucket trucks is a plus. • Flexibility with hours and schedule is necessary - 4-5 hours overtime per week during peak season. • Must be able to start work at 7:00 a.m. and work until at least 4:00 p.m. – sometimes 5:00 p.m. Physical Requirements • Lift/carry up to 75 lbs. • Standing, walking, climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, crawling. • Frequent communication by phone or e-mail with customers, vendors and other employees. • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
