Job description
Fast paced environment where your job duties will be very fluid. As a shipping clerk, you'll be responsible for monitoring the merchandise leaving a company's warehouse. This could include creating shipping documents, such as invoices and purchase orders, and pulling inventory from the shelves. You will package product, package hardware kit, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage. you will be responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspecting for damaged goods and, once approved, distributing merchandise to the correct departments & stocking shelves.
Basic Skills Required:
Proficient in UPS, FED EX, LTL shipping
International Shipping & Freight
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Prolonged standing
Forklift and Pallet Jack operation
Qualifications:
English verbal, and written communication skills
Computer processing skills (Proficient in UPS,FED EX, LTL)
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Ability to retain information
Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Experience:
Shipping and Receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Inventory Clerk: 1 year (Preferred)
The position is full time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. Pay will depend on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
