Volunteer with Columbus Gives Back at the Columbus Taco Fest selling drink tickets and pouring beverages! Join Columbus Gives Back at this year's Columbus Taco Fest, one of the most fun volunteer opportunities around! Be in the center of the action selling drink tickets and serving beverages! Bonus: In exchange for your help, each volunteer will receive an Official Taco Squad T-shirt, drink tickets and a food voucher! When: Saturday, October 9, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: Goodale Park, 120 W Goodale St, Columbus, OH 43215 COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. About Columbus Taco Fest: The Taco Squad, creators of the Columbus Taco Fest® and Columbus Taco Week, are bringing back the city’s biggest taco event this fall with a weekend full of taco trucks, tequila, Mexican beer, and live entertainment. Columbus Taco Fest® will return on Oct. 9-10 for its 3rd annual event. After working around factors caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival is moving from its original location at Genoa Park to its new location at Goodale Park. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will benefit the Ohio Restaurant Association’s Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, an emergency fund for Columbus’ personnel in the food service industry who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
