Join us for a special autumn community gathering! City Bureau, your favorite Chicago journalism lab, has moved to Bronzeville! Join us on October 16 for a special fall celebration where you’ll get to learn more about our community engagement and civic journalism work, including free trainings, workshops and other resources. This outdoor event will include warm drinks, tasty food and fall-themed activities, so bring your family and friends! We’ll also be giving sneak-peek tours of our new office (3619 S. State St.) and you’ll get to meet the brilliant media-makers, storytellers and public watchdogs in the City Bureau network. Founded in 2015, City Bureau is a nonprofit civic journalism lab based on the South Side of Chicago. We bring journalists and communities together in a collaborative spirit to produce media that is impactful, equitable and responsive to the public.
