Immediate year round long term employment available in the grain industry that involves acquiring samples of grain from rail cars and inspecting them for several factors such as foreign material, moisture, and damage. Our office is located in downtown Marshall and we work throughout the state of Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Hourly wage starts at $13.50 with overtime beginning after eight consecutive hours worked. Opportunities for quick raises available within a few of weeks. The right person can quickly work their way up to $15 an hour. We provide paid training and paychecks are received on a weekly basis. Hours and schedule can be flexible and weekly hours worked range from 32 to 40+. Some days we work around 4-6 hours and some days we work 12+ hours. Half of our workload takes place in our downtown Marshall office and the other half takes place onsite at grain elevators throughout the state of Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Easy going office with opportunity for plenty of long term work and advancement for the right people.  Qualified applicant qualifications 1) able to get along well with others 2) dependable and reliable 3) possess a willingness to learn 4) an ability to perform basic math and compose basic emails 5) an ability to pay attention to detail Musts 1) have earned a high school diploma or equivalent 2) possess a valid driver’s license 3) not be afraid of heights from 12-15 feet (occasionally we work on top of rail cars). 4) able to carry 50 pounds once in awhile Military experience is not necessary but is certainly a plus.
