A fall trail event jam packed with 3/4 of a mile of trick-or-treating, festive treats and an immersive experience for the whole family. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 29 for The Meck Fall Trail experience.  Pack the family in the car and head over to Meck at your ticketed time from 5 - 9 p.m. for a walking experience through Meck's nature trail. Join us on the trail for activities like a pumpkin patch for every family to pick a pumpkin, photo spots, and did we mention... free harvest treats and farm fresh, locally-grown apples for you and your family to enjoy as you go trick-or-treating on the trail? The Meck Fall Trail has everything an autumn-lover is looking for with:  Trick-or-treating (the good candy)A pumpkin patch for every family to pick the perfect pumpkinCostumes are welcome (non-scary, please!)Plenty of fall-themed photo opsFestive music Special complimentary donuts for adults and kids alikeAn immersive experience complete with lighted tunnels and walkways and special effects guaranteed to make your season unforgettable.No matter how old you are, make this a must-attend event this fall.  "Can I bring my dog?"Yes, you're more than welcome to bring your dog. We just ask that all dogs remain on a leash at all times and that you clean up after any waste.  "What can I expect? Can we wear costumes?"You can expect a peaceful walk through Meck's backwoods which will include fun, fall games and, at the end of the trail, we'll have fall activities, treats, photo ops and more to enjoy with friends, family or whoever else you would like to join you. Also, non-scary costumes are encouraged! Make sure to tell your friends and invite everyone you know to check out this festive harvest event. "What should I wear?"This is a walking trail through the woods so please wear what you're most comfortable in. We recommend closed-toe shoes. "Can I bring a stroller?"To ensure everyone's safety, strollers are not permitted on the trail. "Do I have to wear a mask?"You can rest assured that we are taking every measure to keep you safe. We're asking everyone to abide by social distancing rules which means keeping a distance of six feet. If you find yourself in a position where you're approaching someone within that distance, we ask that you bring a mask and wear it. "Free treats? What safety precautions are you taking?"All volunteers and staff will be wearing gloves when handling hospitality and will be followings state-mandated guidelines. Furthermore, we will take breaks often to wash hands and sanitize high traffic areas and touch points. "What other safety precautions are you taking?"All of our staff and volunteers will be adhering to state-mandated guidelines as well. We will also have our staff sanitizing bathrooms. All guests must wear a mask upon entering the West Atrium for restroom use per state laws. "Will the Meck Trail be open after this event?"Although the trail will not officially open to the public immediately following the event, stay tuned to all Meck communications to be the first to find out when we do so.
