Stafford terrier/Great Dane mix looking for new home. Please read!

Hi, My name is Phoenix. I am an unaltered 85-90 lb 1 year old Male Stafford Terrier/Great Dane mix. My birthday is June 9, 2020. I have been very LOVED by my owner but she is going into the military soon. Unfortunately no one else in my family is able to care for me full time so I’m looking for a new forever home. I am a lot of dog so I will need someone experienced and patient and who understands BIG young doggies like me. I have had beginners training, sit, stay, wait etc. but I still need lots of practice. Every time I am fed, I am told to ‘WAIT’ while they put the food bowl down. I will wait politely until I hear “OK!” then I eat. I LOVE walks but I still tend to pull. I just need practice and patience. I’ve been both inside and outside but I LOVE my people soooo much I’d love to be inside. I’ve been outside more because the Grandma has cats and I have a strong prey drive and chase them and they get very frightened. So I’m not sure how well I’d do with cats. I am not aggressive at all! I LOVVVVVE other dogs and want to play with them all, But I can be rambunctious with them especially with smaller dogs so supervision is advised. I just want to PLAY and my favorite is ‘Keep Away’ and ‘Fetch’. Even though I have lots of energy I do tire quickly. I love my little pool because I get HOT easily. I love the water, hose and sprinkler. In the winter I need a warm place to be since my fur is extremely short and I get so cold. I love children too, but definitely need supervision as I am big and strong and I can easily knock them down. I would feel bad if they got hurt. If you are the right new owner for me please email.
