We are a large SOUL, R&B and FUNK band with a big, tight sound in search of sax player. Of course, all players will be considered, but strong preference will be given to musicians of color and/or female players. We are a big family looking for a versatile guitar player who can play in the pocket and take lead all with a good attitude and real stage presence. We'd prefer someone looking for a band, not a "gun for hire" offering to sit in on gigs. We practice 1-2 times a week. Everyone in the band has day jobs so we practice on weekday evenings and/or weekends - depending. You must be available for weekday and weekend gigs! If you are stuck at work till 6 or 7 PM every weekday and can't get away every so often for a show, this position is not for you.
