Experienced, Young Guitarist new to the Seattle Area

Hello! My name is Jackson Jones and I'm an 18 year old guitar player who is new to the Seattle area and I am looking for a new music project. I've been playing guitar for practically my entire life and am experienced with many genres. I've played in many rock bands and have years of experience playing jazz as well. I currently live in Bremerton but I commute to Seattle for College and a goal of mine is to move to the city once a good living situation presents itself. Even if you don't live in Bremerton, I don't mind driving a bit so don't hesitate to reach out! I'd like to start a new project or join an established band. Either works for me. I'm looking for other college aged people (17 to mid 20s) who are also experienced, competent musicians. I have a wide range of influences and I'm honestly not sure which direction I want to go in yet, but I'm hoping to figure it out once I meet some people. My biggest influence is King Gizzard, but I also love things like Soundgarden, Fleet Foxes, Sleep, QOTSA, Wilco, Alice In Chains, Death, Frank Zappa, and many others. I want to play gigs, record original material, and hopefully even tour one day so I'm hoping for something that's more than just a casual jam session.
