Foster Homes Needed - Saturday October 9th! Safe Haven Dog Rescue has the chance to bring these pups to Illinois Saturday October 9th but they need a place to crash for a couple of weeks! We are an all-foster based rescue and cannot save dogs without the generosity of fosters opening their homes. If you would be willing to let a pup crash at your house, they would be forever grateful, and it will change their lives forever. Donald3mo, 20lbs ,Male PuppyDonald is very delightful guy who loves other dogs. He enjoys hanging around with other canine companions and looks to them for confidence. He's a young guy who is very smart! He will blossom with the love and attention he will have in a home. Shelly5mo, 25lbs, FemaleThis beautiful girl is an absolute DOLL!! She plays well with others, her favorite is "Ace", another (55#) lab mix puppy. She tells him when she is "done" goes to rest.She is also a snuggle bug! Loves to sit in your lap or ready to get pets whenever you are ready to give them. She is a bit underweight, but with good food and TLC, that can be remedied in no time. She is going to make a great family dog! Stella13m, 40lbs, Female, Shepard mixStella was brought to the shelter when her family decided they didn't have time to care for her. Unfortunately, this is common in the area she comes from. People discard dogs without any regard as to what will happen to them. Stella is a small Shepard mix. She has met kids and did very well with them, was super sweet. She is energetic and bouncy, so older kids might be best. She is extremely intelligent and eager to learn! While you foster, we provide all the supplies you will need…crate, food, toys, leash, collar, and veterinary care at our partner vet offices. You provide the love! These dogs are in a dire situation!
