Here are the top stories in Savannah today: The Savannah City Council introduced a new interactive town hall that Alderman Nick Palumbo calls "Zoom 2.0." The recent virtual event, which was designed to feel more like a conversation than a town hall, featured an interactive poll where people could anonymously share ideas at the same time. Several Aldermen noted that this new format was "an opportunity to get a better understanding of the concerns in their districts." Although the home was destroyed, no injuries were reported. The cause is currently under investigation by the Savannah Fire Department.
