Description
Hi there, Just bought a house and we need an extra set of hands to do various tasks on the property over the span of ONE WEEK. I’ll be there helping to do some of it, but need an all around handy person to help me knock off a long list of to-do’s. Looking for someone quick-moving, reliable, and reasonably-priced to just come in, get a shitload of work done, and get paid CASH at the end of each day. Info on the property: • House will be empty – so no furniture or personal property in our way • House is 3000sf, with a 2 car garage & workshop, and a few out-buildings • Has a fenced-in garden (it’s maybe 12’x25’?) • I will have all supplies/tools onsite for these jobs, but you’ll need to bring your own drill, safety goggles/gloves/kneepads and a ladder just in case we need it. Here’s what we need to get done that week OUTSIDE: 1. Pressure wash the exterior of the house/garage, barn structure, and garden fencing – I have a pressure washer 2. Using my garden auger drill bit, plant 96 (2ft tall baby) trees, 8’ apart, for approx 775 feet of property line (leaving 4 trees left over) 3. Plant another 96 baby trees, 8’ apart, 4’ in front of the first row (leaving 4 trees left over) 4. Plant the 8 trees we have left on the BACK of the property line 5. Uproot all of the dead plants from the garden 6. Knock down an old wooden outhouse on the property w/ a sledgehammer 7. Knock down a few boards from a lean-to building (we’re transforming it into something else) 8. I need a 5-6’ tree stump sawed down to be flush with the ground – I do NOT have the tools for this and prefer it be cut into smaller pieces for easier haul-away 9. Clean out a storage trailer the sellers left onsite, taking everything out and pressure washing the inside, if possible 10. There’s a one-pole rusted clothes line on the property I either need: dug up or cut down flush with the ground. Dealer’s choice – whatever is the fastest and gets this task off our list. 11. With a pruning pole saw, cut back a few branches hanging too far over the garage. TELL ME if you have one, and if not I will buy one. While that's being done, I am going to be prepping the interior for painting then painting the interior. Then I will need you to: 1. Install CedarSafe interior closet liner cedar planks in FIVE closets 2. Ripping up carpet from the 2nd floor of house – you do NOT need to haul it away for me, just rip it up off the flooring and cut it into reasonably-sized strips with my saw and just leave in a neat pile at the top of the stairs 3. Pull up the carpet staples 4. Install sliding glass barn doors above one of my doorways (I have the doors and the hardware) 5. Tile ONE bathroom wall entirely with white subway tile (I'll buy the tile, tile cutter, grout, clips, etc.) 6. Tile subway tile backsplash in kitchen BONUS work – IF you have the experience and the tools! TELL ME IF YOU DO or DO NOT so I can hire the right people! • I need the old light fixtures taken down off the ceilings and walls (approx. 20 fixtures) • I need the new light fixtures put ON the ceilings and walls (appox. 20 fixtures) • Install stainless steel wall-mount range hood above electric stove Interested? Please send me your hourly rate, and how many days of work you anticipate this list taking us. This needs to be completed in 7 days so the job goes to the most reasonably priced person or two who can get it done. Thank you!
