Furniture Tech (Mandarin) We are a real wood, retail furniture store that is actively searching for our next addition to our team. The title is Furniture Tech but in our business that stands for so much more. Basic Company Requirements: A valid driving license. A clean cut appearance and well groomed There is loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, driving of company vehicle, assembly, basic power tools and Sanders, noises, dusty at times... typical warehouse but a fun place to work! You are always treated with respect and we demand the same in return. Do You Enjoy Working with your hands? This position is hands on. Nothing better than building the furniture and watching them come pick it up all excited. Your efforts play a direct impact in our business. You will have a fun but fast paced atmosphere with always new assembly jobs, loading, unloading, deliveries etc.... Enjoy the public? We love our guests and treat them accordingly. We respect our employees and expect the same in return. We are a “can do” store where we all jump in to help. Enjoying our customer and realizing your effort plays an important role in our brand has to be a core element you bring to the table! Have a willingness to learn and accept constructive, respectful, criticism? Our goal is to grow someone into a lead tech and beyond. In order to do this we must teach you how our system works. We are looking for Someone who can plug into our existing system. It works for us and it’s staying in place. Are you dependable? We run a small crew and everyone is essential. Don’t get me wrong - things come up in life and we want to help and will. However it doesn’t take long to spot those trying to abuse our willingness to help. Being punctual is crucial for the start of our day! You must be able to lift 150 lbs, on your own, sometimes, 300+ lbs with assistance, 25-75 lbs regularly with long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, loud noises, sanders, dust..... it’s the blood line of real wood.
