Take a guided tour through Elyria's historic cemetery and learn some of the area's spooky history! Want to enjoy the fall weather while learning about the history of our area? Join LCHS for our annual cemetery walks in Elyria's historic Ridgelawn Cemetery! This year we are offering five walks during October. Ridgelawn is also known as the "Old Elyria" cemetery and is "home" to Heman Ely, founder of Elyria and many important figures in local history. Strollers and wagons are welcome, although the grounds of the cemetery may be difficult to navigate during parts of the tour. The fee per tour is $10 per person ($8 for LCHS members) and registration is required. Tours are limited to 35. All tours will start at Smitty's Restaurant. Parking as available at Smitty's.
