TC Non-Fiction Book Club October Meetings: For the month of October, the TC Non-Fiction Book Club is reading and discussing Opium by John H. Halpern at the Colfax Avenue, Aspen Grove, and McGregor Square location. 15 ticketed spots are available for 4:30 pm on October 17th, 2021. An additional meeting will be created if necessary. General Description: The TC Non-Fiction Book Club -- previously known as the TCAG Non-Fiction Book Club and originally stationed at the Aspen Grove location -- reads whatever nonfiction strikes our fancy. We read history, memoir, biography, essays, true crime, business, psychology -- we're not picky and we like to get around. And often the best part is "I would never have picked up this book on my own, but I'm so glad I read this!" Moderator Bio - Colfax Avenue Holly Hunt first started working in the Cherry Creek Tattered Cover in the nineties. Since then, she has worked at the store off and on while teaching college writing. She enjoys both fiction and nonfiction, especially history, art history, and food writing. Moderator Bio - McGregor Square Moderator Bio - Aspen Grove Jennifer -- Arizona born and Colorado raised -- has been at the Tattered Cover for enough years that she’s lost count. She’s a bibliophile -- a wide-ranging bibliophile -- and loves the scope of the Nonfiction Book Club's selections. Some of her book club favorites (at the moment) include: Bad Blood, Talking to Strangers, and Humble Pi. She also enjoys reading literary fiction, science fiction & fantasy, and poetry.
