Curious about fostering but not sure what it’s all about? We'll explain what its like to foster for CFFR and answer all your questions.
We're excited to announce our first in-person "Fostering with CFFR 101" information session.
We're always looking for more people willing to foster. Currently our greatest need is for fosters for our adult cats, particularly for our mom cats, who are often overlooked once their kittens are all adopted.
Colorado Feline Foster Rescue is an all volunteer, all foster-based rescue (no shelter), so the more foster families we have, the more lives we are able to save.
We will discuss:
What supplies you need to be a successful fosterHow long of a commitment is required? Can you foster if you work full time? (the answer is yes!)What expertise do you need? (none to begin with, just a willingness to learn and follow directions!)We'd also love for you to share with others who may be interested in fostering with us!
Questions? Send us an email at [email protected].
We believe that providing loving home environments and individualized personal care for our cats and kittens in foster homes, helps ensure a healthier, more natural and far less stressful experience for our animals than traditional shelter environments offer.
Although some of our fosters will be heading back to the office, the trend continues to be working from home more often, which enables them to spend the time and energy needed to properly socialize and tend to the specific needs of the cats and kittens in their care to best prepare them for their forever homes.
