Compensation: Base 18.00/h + $7.00/h with certain skills Start time Friday 08 Oct 2021: 1:30pm and completion time shall be around 6:30pm (two 15-minute breaks) Start time Saturday 09 Oct 2021: 9:30am and completion time shall be around 6:30pm (1-hour lunch only) Start time Monday 11 Oct 2021: 8:30am to 12:30 noon (no breaks) If you are coming from outside of Danville,VA; I shall pay 50-cent a mile for driving to/from site based on your current and unexpired drivers license address up to 50 miles each way. WashingtonEngineering looks to hire 3 to 4 individuals to assist with the following tasks: 1) Rolling up existing artificial turf and EPDM (i.e. rubber) under-layment. (All pieces are 12ft wide by 45ft long) 2) Lifting and moving 100lbs railroad ties (2 man effort minimum) 3) Trenching, Moving, and adjusting location of top-soil underneath moved tuft and EPDM (i.e. rubber) (Shall supply trenching tool) 4) Using 1-1/4" forstner bit and/or self feed bit; drill 3 to 4 holes in at least 12 railroad ties. (Looking for a person with some carpentry experience and a 1/2-inch shaft drill minimum) (I myself hold necessary 1/2-inch shaft drills and shall supply drill bits.) ($7.00 extra an hour for person with carpentry skills but if you break two bits, extra wage will be pull back!!) 5) After top-soil adjustment, railroad tie repositioning; we shall re-install EPDM & artificial grass. (Need landscaper/grass installer with knowledge/experience of applying silica sand infill and turf staking) (I shall provide silica sand infill and turf stakes) ($7.00 extra an hour for person with landscaping/turf installation experience) 1st work day shall start Friday 08 Oct 2021 at 1:30pm and conclude no earlier than 6:30pm (EDT). Looking for individuals who can easily lift between 50lbs and 80lbs up/down hills and stairs. Individual must be a U.S. Citizen of at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license. If you wish to use inside restroom during work you must put on a mask (end of story).
