Foamsmithing is the craft of turning foam into lightweight, durable costumes and props. This class will teach you the basics of foamsmithing, including pattern design, cutting, and assembly techniques, and how to finish your armor. Class Fee: $40/helmet made. So if you and your kid both come, but you only want to make one helmet, only register once! Age Requirement: Since this class requires cutting foam with a razor knife, younger children must be accompanies by an adult. Dress Code: We'll use contact cement and other materials that can stain fabric, so wear appropriate clothing.
