Reiki I & II Training Reiki is a Japanese healing art that reduces stress and promotes relaxation and healing. In this course, you will be initiated into Reiki I & II in a fun and loving environment and learn techniques that have been passed down for thousands of years. Level I is a practitioner's initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. Level I teaches students to focus on practicing Reiki on themselves and includes an overview of the history of Reiki. Level II gives students the skills to practice Reiki on others and open energy channels more deeply. Students learn how to send Reiki over long distances and how to send healing energy wherever it may be needed in the world. Upon completing all Level II requirements, students receive a certification and are allowed to build a business and charge money for Reiki sessions; however, it is most commonly used to bring harmony and healing to friends and family. Level I begins on Sunday, October 17 from 2:30-6:00pm and Level II is held on Sunday, November 20 from 2:30-5:30pm. During the month between the two sessions, we will have small group practice sessions via Zoom for 30 minute once a week and Kristin will work with everyone in the class to hold a session that will work with your schedule. After class on November 20th, we will end with a celebratory, Italian vegan dinner at Pura Vita Restaurant, which is next door to the studio. Kristin spent many years as an event planner and political fundraiser (including two years in the White House) until the calling came to live her passion; music and meditation. Settling in Hermosa Beach, CA to raise her family, she drew upon her musician roots coupled with her meditation practice to create what would bring her and so many others joy: sound bath with heart. She incorporates an abundance of high vibrational instruments including gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, Native American flute, chimes, frame drum, shruti box, tongue drum, and vocal toning into her symphonic sound bath practice. Kristin is a sound bath practitioner, meditation instructor, spiritual channeler, author, retreat and workshop facilitator, and as a Reiki Master, she infuses all of her healing modalities with universal healing energy. As the pandemic comes to an end, Kristin holds a vision for White Light Sound retreats in beautiful and sacred settings. For now, you can catch local LA sound baths twice weekly where participants are said to leave lighter, more joyful, and full of a loving vibration. As a healer of many talents, her sound baths don’t just give you a pleasant sound experience, you get an infusion of the love frequency and transformation.
