In this class you’ll be introduced to the humble equipment and supplies needed to start your embroidery journey. The term embroidery describes a dizzying array of techniques but at its heart are simple building blocks of basic stitches. In this class you’ll be introduced to the humble equipment and supplies needed to start your embroidery journey. You’ll learn the basic stitches and a few of their variations in a simple project that, when finished, can be used as an ornament, a pin cushion or a sachet. This workshop will be lead by fibers enthusiast Dianna Smith.
