In this class you’ll learn the basics about tools of spinning and the fiber used. In this class you’ll learn the basics about tools of spinning and the fiber used - what it is, how it acts, how to handle it and , best of all, how to make your own yarn with it. You’ll also learn how yarn is put together - z twist, s twist, plying, setting. But we’ll start with making a drop spindle of your very own. Before you know it, you’ll be a spinner! This workshop will be lead by fibers enthusiast Dianna Smith.
