The weekend session will begin Saturday with a deep dig into the varying approaches Tavera takes when producing a thematic series of images beginning with deeply constructed processes he has used in the past with choreographed props and backdrops etc... He will also discuss ways in which he has worked to create portraits within people’s home, work and land environments and how he has used these elements to craft the set. These presentations will include hands on practice with participants as they learn through practice. The workshop will wrap on Sunday with a review of live action photography where there is no control over the environment, and how you as a photographer can immerse yourself within the environment. This workshop is free and open to the public but is limited to 10 participants. Please make sure you register.
