Pumped Up Kicks! Join us for the freshest function of the year in the Lakeview/OMI community! Grab your coolest kicks, and get ready to party in style, because the OMI Cultural Participation Project inaugural "Sneaker Ball" promises to be an evening to remember. This event will feature local art, R&B/soul/funk line dancing, live performances, food, fun and more! Funds raised from the OMI Sneaker Ball will support the mission of Youth 1st Program and SF African American Early Childhood Educators, to provide world-class programming for Lakeview/OMI children to explore their potential. Because this is an indoor event, proof of vaccination, either by card or phone, is REQUIRED. Those without proof will be turned away, per San Francisco health mandates. This event is in generous partnership with San Francisco Recreation & Parks. This event is being organized by the OMI Cultural Participation Project, a 501-3 non-profit organization which focuses on putting on events or collaborating with people to bring arts and culture to the Oceanview-Merced Heights-Ingleside neighborhoods.
