Position - Indoor Cultivation Assistant Full Time - Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm Job Description: Better Daze is a craft cultivation company who recently surpassed our first year of operating and are in the process of expanding our facility! We are looking for motivated individuals to add to our close knit team who want to learn and grow with a blooming company. The Cultivation Assistant will work under the supervision of a cultivation lead and manager to assist in day to day operations of maintaining a 4,000 sq ft (soon to be 6,000 sq ft!) indoor cultivation facility. Job Duties: The primary responsibilities will be assisting in all phases of the cultivation cycle from cutting clones, transplanting, defoliating/lollipopping, mixing reservoirs, watering, trellising, harvesting, and cleaning. Secondary responsibilities may include trimming, pre-rolling, and packaging as needed. Qualifications: • Team player with a passion for working harmoniously with others and also capable of independent tasks, as needed • Able to abide by all company policies, rules, and SOPs while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Capable of physically demanding work. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance 50 lbs continuously during the work day • Ability to kneel, climb ladders, short scaffolding, stand and sit for extended periods of time • Ability to work in hot grow rooms reaching more than 80 degrees and drying rooms as cold as 60 degrees • Close attention to detail. • Capable of arriving to work clean and sober on a daily basis Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Previous cultivation experience is preferred, but not required. • Previous experience working in a regulated marijuana facility preferred, but not required. • Must be at least 21 years old. • Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony. Compensation: $15/hr starting pay!
