If you are interested in California gold rush history and teaching others, become a docent at Columbia State Historic Park! Attend 6 trainings at Columbia State Historic Park and you can become a docent and teach the public about CA gold rush history. Activities that docents participate in have included: working in the museum, leading town tours, presenting school programs, and special events including: Stories in Stone, Lamplight, Big Band Street Dance, Gold Trek, Diggins, Gold Rush Days every Saturday, Boo Blvd, a Miner's Christmas, Histories Mysteries and so much more!
