Ecosystems tour of Florida's wetlands habitat for kids ages 5+ Join Explore My Florida for another round of Ecosystem Tours around beautiful Southwest Florida! These tours are geared for children ages 5 and up, but younger siblings are always welcome. Each tour will be guided by a Florida Master Naturalist and include a wide range of fun, educational activities for our little naturalists. Each tour will include a 1-1.5 mile guided nature walk. During this walk, students will be able to observe and learn hands-on what is so important about Florida's main ecosystems and what we can do to help maintain their fragile balance. While there will be lots of learning, there will also be lots of fun! Please Bring: - Plenty of Water - Snacks - Insect and Sun Protection - Change of Clothes Please Wear: - Outdoor appropriate clothing (bathing suits/wading clothes for our coastal tour) - Closed Toe Shoes/Water Shoes All tours will be held within the boundaries of Lee County and some parks may require a parking fee. Once you have registered for the tour, please watch for details on the location, fees, weather, etc that will be posted as we get closer to the date, if they aren't posted already. Each tour is $12/student and you may register for one or all of the tours. At the end of the series, we will have "Young Naturalist" certificates to hand out to the kids to celebrate all of their hard work!
