Here are the top stories in Buffalo today: Buffalo Police are hoping someone has information regarding the death of a man from this past summer. The department says Juan Rosado was found unresponsive near the corner of Delaware Avenue and North Street in the overnight hours of July 14. Rosado suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the hospital where he died from those injuries just over a week later. (WGRZ.com) Hundreds of CWA workers went on strike after the union and Catholic Health were unable to make a deal yesterday morning. Mercy Hospital of Buffalo and others were unable to reach an agreement with CWA for six labor contracts covering approximately 2,200 registered nurses and service, technical and clerical associates. Prior to the contract's expiration, 97 percent of union members voted to strike if a new deal was not reached.(RochesterFirst)National supply chain problems have reached Buffalo's school cafeterias.
