On September 25, 2021 Knox County Sheriff's Office Patrol Units responded to a complaint of a shooting at 5309 Parkridge Drive.
Upon arrival, Patrol Units discovered one male with at least one gun shot wound. The victim died as a result of the injuries sustained. Sheriff's Deputies took the suspect into custody, he has been charged with second degree murder.
KCSO's Major Crimes Detectives believe upon initial investigation the incident occurred as the result of a domestic dispute. The investigation is active and ongoing. Both the suspect and victim have been identified below.
