High: 70 Low: 46. Here are the top stories in Denver today: A man has been arrested in connection with a northeast Park Hill neighborhood church break-in and burglary. Police took Deshun Glenn, 37, into custody Saturday when he tried to sell some of the items reported stolen from the Cure' d'Ars Catholic Church back in August. Church leaders report that the thieves not only stole various items but they also damaged the water line, flooding the church basement and causing damage to the building. (The Denver Post)October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Denver District Attorney is taking the opportunity to shine a light on this serious problem that affects millions. Mayor Michael B. Hancock shared his personal connection with the issue, revealing that he lost his sister to domestic violence. Both the 970 area code (southeast Colorado) and the 719 area code (northwest, northeast and southwest Colorado) will be affected.
