Press release from the Town of Salem: October 1, 2021 Phase one paving of North Broadway is scheduled to begin Monday 10/4, weather dependent. If necessary, because of rain, the work will be moved up accordingly. During this time, the northbound lanes will both be closed for finish grading and base paving. Work will begin at 7:00 AM and is expected to go through 2:00 AM the next day. Traffic will be shifted to the southbound side to single lane traffic only in each direction. Expect delays and seek alternate routes. The work zone will shift to the southbound side once the northbound side is complete. This press release was produced by the Town of Salem.
