REDONDO BEACH, CA — Police Friday night are searching on the ground and by helicopter for a suspect who fled following a crash in Redondo Beach, authorities said. The search is underway near Avenue B, C, D, E, between Prospect Avenue and Cataline Avenue, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department. No further details about the crash and search were immediately released. "The suspect is believed to be within this area," police said. Police described the man as a 20-year-old Black man with a thin build, wearing a gray shirt. No further description was available.
