Chunky Monkey was surrendered to the shelter in May when his family had a new baby and stated they no longer had time for a dog such a sad reason to give up your fur pet. Chucky Monkey if a voluteer favorite he is very playful and affectionate with his familiar friends! He is a bit shy at first, give him some time to warm up, and he's your best friend. This handsome boy is a hidden gem, he's around 3 years old, not really sure of his breed maybe some border collie/bull terrier or english pointer, has already had some training, he was house trained in his previous home, he can be playful or cuddly! Out in the play yard, he loves to run zoomies and play, he knows sit & down, he takes treats genlty. He enjoys being near his people, whether going for a walk with you or just sitting next to you. Kids 12 and older, he would like to meet everyone in his new family before adopting, he was social when meeting other dogs, and may do well with other dogs living in his home if introduced properly.
