Description
Female: Pit Bull Terrier; 11 years, 5 months Aphrodite lives up to her name as the goddess of love! She wants nothing more than to be petted and loved on by her favorite people. Now in foster care, she is very laid back and if you tell her to it is time to lay down, she will go curl up in her favorite spot. She minds very well and is very easy to please, doing well meeting people and making friends. She loves curling up with her foster's 10-pound lap dog. She's just a little jealous that she is not as small as him because she sometimes wants to be a lap dog too! She has done well with some other dogs, but does not love overly pushy pups. She walks well on a leash, but prefers short, slow walks just for sightseeing since she is a laidback gal. She is a house-trained girl who understands many commands. She loves food and eats rapidly, her fosters are teaching her to slow down. She doesn't like being crated, but she does well when her fosters are away if her dog buddy stays with her. Aphrodite should adapt well to a wide variety of homes. If you would love a laidback, easygoing companion, Aphrodite is a perfect fit for you. Come meet this gorgeous girl!
