Bassist looking for a working band (or nearly working band). I'd prefer a cover band (or at least a band playing 75% covers in the set), I would also potentially be interested in an original band if the material was a good fit (for me & you). I'd like to stay in the Madison area, but would be willing to travel up to an hour(ish) for the right project. I'm looking for mainly rock style stuff, anything from the classic stuff up through the hair bands, then moving into 90's alternative & some of the new pop rock being played today....Would also be interested in a country band, especially one that mixes in some of the aforementioned stuff. What I'm NOT looking for...Metal (I dig it, but don't wanna play it)...Funk/Jazz/Fusion etc..(Good stuff, but not my thing). I also need to mention, this is my “side hustle”...I've already got a great paying full time career, and have no delusions of striking it rich and going worldwide, I just wanna play with a group of good people, on as many weekends as I can, and make a little fun money. Sound Good? As far as age goes, it's just a number, and irrelevant to me (but be at least 21 for obvious reasons), just be a decent human, and be willing to play...the rest falls in line...If you must know my age, I'm not 30...or 60. :-) I have: Reliable transportation Wide open schedule for rehearsals Great gear Zero drama (life's too short for that stuff) No chemical dependencies, but not judgemental.
