Singer/songwriter + drummer looking for bandmates/collaborators

I am a female singer/songwriter hoping to form or join a band that creates and performs original music. The music I create is in the rock genre with elements of world, blues and country. I am also heavily influenced by the music I grew up hearing-- Jewish religious music and middle eastern music (so lots of minor keys...). I try to write lyrics that feel like poetry and are deeply meaningful to me. If you also write songs, that is awesome. I would love to help you bring your songs to life as well. I also enjoy writing collaboratively, with each band member creating their parts. I am hoping to create music, perform and eventually record. Through craigslist I have connected with a drummer who has been working on creating and recording percussion parts for the songs. He has recorded demos upon request.
