I found this small dog abandoned in a dead-end street next to 183 highway in Austin. My friend saw this dog on the street for several weeks and nobody was taking care of her. We would leave some food and water for the pup and posted her on lost pets websites but nobody came to claim her. I finally took her in yesterday and gave her a flea bath. I don't know how old she would be but she seems young and maybe fully grown. She is very sweet and timid. I'm keeping her indoors now and teaching her how to be potty trained. It seems like she has never been an indoor dog, and also does not yet know how to walk on a leash. We are working on that too. I own a cat and she would do good with other pets in the home.
