rat terrier/chi mix needs a forever home

Here is our female 5 year old rat terrier/chihuahua mix that we have had since she was 8 weeks old. Since the beginning we knew we couldn't keep Daisy forever and really only planned for 3 years at the most. Luckily with the pandemic and shutdown we have been able to keep her for longer than expected. Until now. Our housing situation will be changing very soon and we have to find her a new home. She is very intelligent and still up for playtime although she needs her napes throughout the day. She is loyal and very protective of her family and property, so expect a bark or two when your amazon package is delivered. She is traied to a puppy pad, the back yard and to go while on her walks. She loves wide open fields and will play with her family for hours if they are up to it. She hasn't been socialized with other dogs, but I think after an initial break in period she'll do well with other pets. We hate that we have to let her go but we knew this day would come eventually and want her to find a new forever home filled with love and attention.
