RARE FINDS FURNITURE DENVER Workshop / Furniture Repair / Handyman $17-$18 per Hour-DOE Rare Finds is a furniture retailer specializing in accent furniture, lighting and home decor. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, detail oriented, organized hands on workshop / furniture repair person with the ability to assist in the showroom who will work directly with the owners, managers, and a team of 4 - 5 warehouse employees regularly. Great opportunity for the right person who is interested in growing with our business. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Organize and manage flow of furniture repairs Clean, organize and manage shop area Work with a team of 3 - 4 warehouse staff and assist in showroom set up when needed - Assist in loading and unload trucks and shipping containers -Pack and ship orders both ground and freight -Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. -Be on your feet for extended periods of time. OTHER REQUIREMENTS - Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license and clean driving record if driving a car to work. Otherwise you will need a current photo ID. - Arriving to work on time is a must - Good people and communication skills - Ability to multi-task - Comfortable use of hand and power tools, including screw gun, drills, hand saws, table saw, chop saw, and more. - Experience with carpentry/woodworking and power tools required - Basic welding skills required - Basic lamp wiring skills a plus - Forklift experience NOT NEEDED/no forklift on site. - Loading furniture into vehicles for customers. - Must maintain a friendly attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times. - Your schedule may include weekends. Must be willing to work as needed with two days off. Schedules are fairly consistent, but occasionally the days may change. HOURS 36-40+ hours per week. Position requires high energy, positive attitude, dependability, teamwork and a desire to grow High School or equivalent required NO WALK INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
