SABER UPDATE>> 9/17/21 Introducing Saber! Meaning: "knowledgeable man" and he is,  that is to smart for his own good! Saber is a young, very sweet and mischievous 2 yr old soul and is seeking a forever family that can calmly and confidentially continue his training that he is most willing to absorb and grow in! Saber prefers to be around and go with his humans and is and enjoys being around children with supervision to help manage his size and spacial consideration. A complete goof ball in water, Saber will need consistent daily exercise to release his playful energy as well as to remind him of his place in the pack. A gentle giant, Saber is a welcomed addition to a home with a yard and opportunities to practice his good boy nature.  MEET SABER What an incredible, protective guy! Saber is one of a kind. This boy is a loyal, protective and incredilbe guy! He has had a rough start in his 12 months of life with improper training that created an enormous amount of anxiety and lack of confidence in Saber. When Saber initially came to us, he was broken, scared and everything set him off. He was reactive with the other dogs here and some people.  He has made a complete 180 after several months here with us and he is soooo ready for a new home!  Saber is now doing GREAT with all of our other dogs here, male and female. He LOVES to play and has ditched most all of his anxiety.  He is definitely going to be very protective of his people.  We are looking for a home who knows and understands how to work with his breed. No small children with him best to either have grown kiddos or an adult only home. Saber loves to play fetch, but he will love you more. He will glue to your side, ride in the car, walks on leash very well.  Saber is house trained but may need some reminders upon entering a new home. He is currently buddied up with Rojo and they are great together.  He is not food aggressive here with us at all.   Please consider giving this incredible boy a chance if you know the breed, know how to a handle a previously abused pup who may have triggers and are a postivie reinforcement kind of person!
