Forming Cover/Jam Band

Guitarist forming a female-fronted cover/jam band with an Americana leaning. Currently we are rehearsing as an acoustic duo, and seeking bass and percussion to fill out the sound. Will consider keys and additional guitar as well. We are amateur musicians but seeking to gig about 2x per month and rehearse 1x per week. You should be able to contribute vocals/harmony and be comfortable with improvisation regardless of instrument. Not seeking to create high-fidelity covers, nor to entirely reinterpret or rewrite songs. The goal would be to define a band sound and choose songs that fit – or can fit – into this style. Accordingly, I expect to pull from multiple genres and eras including: rockabilly, (alt) country, country/southern rock, (neo) soul, classic rock, and even some blues and jazz standards while building a repertoire.
