If you have great Laborer experience and want to develop a career that includes CDL training and Licensing - this job is for you!     Job Title: Landscaping & Maintenance Tech Pay: $15.50hr Essential Functions: 1. Removal of all litter, debris, and unwanted items within maintenance limits. This will include but not limited to the traveled lanes, shoulders, grass covered and slope areas. 2. Participate in Snow and Ice Events by preparing, operating, and cleaning various pieces of equipment and vehicles. 3. The cleaning of rip/rap, drains, joints, as well as, assisting with erosion repair and prevention projects. 4. Mowing, edging, weed eating, brush and tree trimming, chipping and removal of brush and trees. 5. Assisting with the installation, removal, repair, replacement, and/or rotation of signs. 6. Proper operation and inspection of all NTTA equipment, tools, and vehicles, before and after use. 7. Reporting any damage and/or failures in accordance with established procedures.   Job Requirements: 1. Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational or technical processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency. 2. Under and including one year, preferably in maintenance and/or construction. 3. Valid Class C driver's license required. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B preferred but not required.
