Akins Workforce Solutions is looking for mason tenders in the Pinellas County area for commercial work. Description: A mason tender is an onsite assistant to a mason. You will be tasked with keeping the job site clean, maintaining, constructing surfaces and structures from brick and stone, making minor repairs, following the provided blueprints and plans to complete a project, maintaining tools, transporting materials, helping lay block, preparing the mortar used to hold the brick together, applying mortar, and at times chipping out the old mortar using chisels and saws. Requirements: -1+ years’ experience -Valid DL and reliable transportation -Hand tools for trade (belt, hammer, tape, razor, etc) -Detail oriented -Team player/work with others Pay is based on experience ($16-19/hr) Please submit resume/work history with good contact information.
