Greetings. I run a small, one-man shop in South Los Angeles and recently my workload has gotten beyond what I can handle on my own. For now, I need an experienced manual press operator who can come in for 6+ hours on Saturday afternoons to run the press while I catch up running the shop. Set up, printing, and clean up. Occasionally I might ask you to burn some screens or help out with an odd task, but mainly you'd be here to run the press to free me up to maintain and grow the shop. Have good registration skills (you'll need them on the current press). Be detailed and able to produce quality prints. Have patience and a good attitude. Minimum two years manual press experience. Currently running a DIY 6/4 manual but upgrading to a new 8/8 in the near future. Pay is $20 an hour and it's a W-9 position. I don't do under the table. We start on Saturdays at 3 pm and the hours depend on the production schedule, but minimum 6. Earn some extra money on the side. Have a little fun. Grow with a little company that could.
