If you said yes, then join us at Top o’ the Rock Toastmasters to learn about the basics of speech organization, presentation, and style. Top o’ the Rock Toastmasters is a diverse group of individuals who get together weekly to help each other become better communicators, better speakers and better leaders. We also develop critical listening skills to assist us in  effective and successful communication. What we learn at Toastmasters makes us better able to communication on our jobs, with our families, and with our friends. All this is accomplished in a professional and supportive atmosphere. Location: 1435 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207, Inside Southside Baptist Church  Free Parking: Main Parking on San Marco Pl., (behind Fire Rescue Station 13) Additional 2nd Parking lot off Hendricks Ave. Entrance: Entrance on San Marco Pl., across from Main Parking* Someone will greet you at the entrance from 11:50 – 12 pm. If you arrive after, please ask receptionist for directions to the Toastmaster meeting room. While Toastmasters is about public speaking, it is much more. According to Top o’ the Rock member, Bob Warren , “Yes, we become better speakers. But we also improve our listening skills, and we learn to provide constructive feedback to others. Toastmasters is also about cultivating leadership skills, and all of this results in personal growth. It’s all done among friends who are members of our club, and we have fun doing it! The experiences we have, and the skills we develop in Toastmasters, help us professionally and personally." Toastmasters is a world wide organization dedicated to helping individuals improve their public speaking and leadership skills. Our local group, Top O’ The Rock Toastmasters, meets in San Marco every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church, 1435 Atlantic Blvd. It is open to the public and serves all surrounding areas.
