Celebrate the opening of the Junior League of Boca Raton Community Garden at Meadows Park with a FREE tree giveaway on Oct. 16th! Community Greening, the City of Boca Raton, and the Junior League will be celebrating the opening of the new Junior League of Boca Raton Community Garden at Meadows Park with a free tree giveaway of 100 trees to local residents! The Tree Giveaway will be held in conjunction with the Junior League's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Community Garden. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 from 10am-12pm JLBR Community Garden - 1300 NW 8th St, Boca Raton In order to receive a tree during the Tree Giveaway, You Must Reserve Your Tree In Advance.Limit of Two Trees per Household - Any order for more than two total trees will be automatically cancelled.The Tree Giveaway is limited to just 100 trees in total, and will likely fill up quickly. Some species may get reserved faster than others. There are a variety of options to choose from including: Avocados, Florida Thatch Palms, Gumbo Limbos, Live Oaks, Mulberries, and Slash Pines. All will come in 3 gallon containers. You can mix and match the types of trees you would like to reserve, but can only reserve two in total (per household). The Tree Giveaway will begin at 11am. All trees must be picked up by noon, or they will be given to someone on the Wait List.
