Consider this a FREE preview of next year's race. Come ride the Rampart Rager for fun & prizes & a big after party with live music. The Rager is back and this time it’s a ride and it’s free! Consider this a preview of the 2022 race. 3 Courses Short course. 20 miles. 2,600 feet climbing Medium course 42 miles 5170 feet climbing. Long course 62miles/100k 7,000 feet climbing Ride this year get 20% off the 2022 Race! Course Description: This course is sensational!! Phenomenal views, super challenging but brutally fun Course, 80% Dirt, 20% paved and bike path. Starting at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Go directly into The Garden of The Gods Trading Post Entrance. One long loop around the Garden (will be closed to cars for Motorless Morning 5am - noon, watch out for pedestrian and skate board traffic) then Turn North on Rampart Range Road. For short course Strava route is from lodge to dirt section up Rampart Range Road to top of Rampart Range lookout and turn around and ride back down to end of dirt before hit pavement back in the Garden. For 42 & 60 mile (100k) rides: Continue Rampart RD COURSE MAP: (coming) What's included: Super Challenging, Beautiful, Find routes (coming soon) and track your Time on Strava 2 Aid Stations. (Please bring more water and food than you think you might need:) Post Event Party at the Lodge with Live Music, Food Truck & Prizes Safety: Road is open to traffic please be careful. Parking: At back of Buffalo Lodge and just west of lodge at baseball field. Registration: Starts at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort 7am First wave of ride starts at 7:50am. After Party 11-4pm with prizes, food truck & live music. Weather: Looks like temps in the mid 60s with sunshine and some clouds. windbreaker, temps on top of Rampart Range Rd. may be 10 degrees cooler than in Colorado Springs. Event Time Line: A very fast cyclist will complete the full Rager in 4-5hrs, a strong cyclist in about 5-6hrs, a moderate cyclist 7-8 hrs. The first 2+hrs is almost all uphill so pace yourself and be prepared for a long enjoyable day on the saddle. Enjoy the challenging course and respect all traffic signs and other participants.
