We are excited to feature two emerging artists for our season finale: Mariama Alcântara, violin and Zerek Dodson, piano. We are excited to feature two emerging artists for our season finale: Mariama Alcântara, violin and Zerek Dodson, piano. Both artists are currently pursuing their Doctor of Musical Arts degrees at CU Boulder and already have active performing careers across the US and abroad. Their program will feature works spaced 100 years apart; Franz Schubert’s A major Sonata and Ottorino Respighi’s B minor Sonata along with other exciting works for violin and piano.
